Since 2000, Summer Experiences in Greater Lowell, or SEGL, has provided children in our community with enriching summer learning and recreational experiences when school is closed. In 2010, the initiative provided more than $100,000 to 13 Greater Lowell agencies. Since its inception, SEGL has invested over $770,000 into the community. Through SEGL, approximately 3,000 children participated annually in quality summer programs, developing leadership, social and academic skills that will empower them for life. read more »
