Help this Tax Season

WBZ/TV38 came to the Jordan Boys and Girls Club in Chelsea on April 1st to cover a free tax site that United Way and Chelsea Neighborhood Developers set up. The sites, which are part of a broader United Way effort to connect residents to opportunities to build financial stability, will provide more access to EITC for individuals with tight schedules due to work or family responsibilities.
This year, with the help of Bank of America, United Way is investing $78,000 to raise awareness and equip free tax preparation sites throughout the region. The sites are run by trained volunteers, including those seen in the WBZ/TV38 coverage, who are from Ropes & Gray LLP. Watch WBZ/TV38's coverage
