How United Way invests the dollars entrusted to us:
Every three years at United Way, we evaluate how we can create the greatest impact with donor dollars. We take a look at at our long term vision for the community, examine the community needs and set three year goals. Then, through the funding application procees, we invite hundreds of tested, quality organizations to tell us how they can help us meet those objectives for the community. Once the applications are in, they go through a rigorous vetting process, led by community volunteers. Learn more about the review process.
