Few professional experiences have been more fulfilling for Taylor than his work with the United Way. BBH's total giving and participation rates had sagged during the tech boom and the outlook for fundraising going into the 2001 recession was dim. Looking more closely into the mission and impact of the United Way inspired Taylor to refresh his company's appreciation for the organization and to revive an institutional relationship that went back to the founding of the United Way many decades ago. Since 2001, BBH participation rates in Boston have climbed over 70% and total giving has trebled. In recent years, in addition to serving as BBH's Campaign Chair, Taylor has participated on the UWMBMV Development Committee.
