New England Patriots and United Way Team Up for Hometown Huddle

BOSTON – Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots and cheerleaders took to the field today at Gillette Stadium's practice bubble to promote physical activity amongst youth as part of United Way of Massachusetts Bay’s (UWMB) annual Hometown Huddle event. Over 100 eighth graders from Atlantic Middle School in Quincy had the unique opportunity to participate in a skills clinic conducted by players and cheerleaders.  read more »

United Way’s Engaging Families Initiative Stacks the Deck for Family Time

BOSTON -- United Way of Massachusetts Bay’s (UWMB) Engaging Families Initiative (EFI) launched its innovative EFI Deck of Cards, a set of nine magnetized activity cards, produced in both English and Spanish, aimed at sparking increased interaction between parents and children, at a special event at Boston Children’s Museum on Friday, November 12.  read more »
